Winnet's story of courage
Winnet lives with her
grandchildren in the rural area
of Mutuko, approximately
190km from the capital city of
Harare.
The family have no source of
income and live from hand to
mouth every single day, never
knowing where their next meal
will come from.
Most days they survive on
anything they can gather from the bush including termites the
children gather from the
anthills and corn meal.
